Alcohol & Drug Education

The Alcohol & Drug Education Program through the Center for Student Wellness helps students examine their use of alcohol and other drugs, make informed choices, and change behaviors if necessary.

BAIC

The Thea Bowman AHANA and Intercultural Center (BAIC) develops, implements, and coordinates programs designed to support the undergraduate community, with a particular focus on AHANA students (students of African, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American descent).

Bias-Motivated Reporting Protocol

Black Women Matter Initiative

The Black Women Matter Initiative consists of a weekend retreat for undergraduate Black women, a support group for graduate and undergraduate Black women, and a mentorship program for first year and sophomore Black women. All programs provide a sense of community, an opportunity for healing, and a time for celebrating Black Women at Boston College.

Boston College Bands

Student musicians can contribute their talents to a variety of ensembles run by Boston College Bands, including the "Screaming Eagles" Marching Band, the BC bOp! Jazz Ensemble, and the University Wind Ensemble.

Bystander Intervention is a sexual assault prevention program that seeks to empower Boston College students to stand up and speak out to prevent instances of rape and sexual assault from occurring.

Cross Currents

Diversity Edu

Boston College has partnered with Diversity Edu, an online course that seeks to promote diversity and inclusion by teaching students skills in addressing unconscious biases and stereotypical thinking. The module takes approximately one hour to complete.

Health Services

University Health Services helps diagnose and treat any physical, emotional, or transitional issues students might have. Appointments are available Monday through Friday in the Outpatient Unit and after hours (during the academic year) in the Inpatient Unit.

Robsham Theater

The Robsham Theater Arts Center houses a variety of performing arts spaces used for dance, student-directed productions, theatre classes, lectures, and exhibits that engage the University community in meaningful discussion.

The Boston College Sexual Assault Network (SANet) is a 24-hour hotline that connects those who have been directly or indirectly affected by sexual violence and/or intimate partner violence with advocates in the BC community.
